Welcome to the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, College of Anaesthetists of Ireland which takes place from the 21st to the 23rd of February 2013. The meeting, now in in its fifth year, has become the most significant conference for health care professionals with an interest in pain and associated specialities.
The focus of the meeting will be chronic pain and the continuing campaign to have this major healthcare problem to be recognised as a disease in its own right.
